Remember
What is Remember?
Remember is a visual novel about revisiting adolescent music and ending up in a forest pursued by familiar figures. Players follow different routes, seek secret endings, and use an affection meter in dating routes.
Remember is a visual novel from Laucifer, built around music and a creepypasta-inspired cast. The story follows a dull, almost depressing life that turns into a forest encounter with people the protagonist knows and would rather avoid. The player explores multiple routes, including realistic bad endings, true routes, and sub-routes, with an affection meter for dating paths. Five chapters are planned, including a prologue; the available demo covers the prologue, chapter one, and half of chapter two. Easter eggs unlock secret endings, and the game includes content warnings for flashing lights, tobacco use, strong language, blood, self-harm, death, and toxic relationships.

–Jeff the Killer
–Eyeless Jack
–Masky
–Hoodie
–Ticci-Toby
(Slenderman y Ben drowned tienen rutas aparte)

(UPDATE: The files are now new because I’ve fixed some English translation errors and converted the images to WebP to reduce file size. Nothing else has been changed or updated. Thanks!)
(IMPORTANT: I am still figuring out how to export the game for macOS, sorry! :( I'll try to fix it as soon as possible!! Any help is welcome!!)

I’m Laucifer, and this is my first visual novel project.
"Remember" grew out of a fanzine created in 2023. It was sparked by nostalgia for the world of creepypastas, a realm where I spent practically my entire pre-teen and early teenage years, after I heard a fandom-related song I hadn't listened to in over 12 years. Unsure of how to continue the fanzine as a comic, I decided to create a visual novel instead; this allowed me to bring together ideas that didn't quite fit together otherwise and craft different routes within a single story.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is "Remember" about?
"You are living a dull, almost depressing life, which leads you to reminisce about your adolescence and the music you used to listen to, all thanks to an old playlist you’ve stumbled upon. Before you know it, however, you find yourself in the middle of a forest, pursued by people you know all too well, people you’d rather not have to deal with. You must discover why you ended up there and find a way out... whether dead or alive."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Remember" has a somewhat retro aesthetic but is set in the present day. Furthermore, the story relies heavily on music, it’s the game's central element, drawing especially from shoegaze, emo, and alternative metal, as well as songs that much of the fandom and internet users from the 2012–2015 era grew up with. I like to affectionately call them "cringe" songs, even though I still genuinely enjoy and listen to them practically every day.
That is why, next to each main character's name, you will also find their signature songs.
You can listen to the songs that represent "Remember" on this official Spotify playlist:
The game's main theme song was created SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS STORY by "2ndgear" on Vgen and is not available on Spotify.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Remember" consists of five chapters in total (including the prologue); the currently available demo covers the prologue, Chapter 1, and half of Chapter 2.
In "Remember", you will encounter various paths, such as realistic routes (bad endings), true routes (story canon), and other sub-routes, including the option to end up romancing your favorite creepypasta character, thanks to an affection meter.
"Remember" also features easter eggs that you must find to unlock secret endings.
The available dating routes are:
–Jeff the Killer
–Eyeless Jack
–Masky
–Hoodie
–Ticci-Toby
(Slenderman and Ben Drowned have separate routes)
