Privacy policy
Short version: we do not ask for an account, and we do not sell anything about you.
What we collect
Playdrop uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which games people play. Google may set cookies and receive your IP address, browser, and the page you visited. We do not collect names, emails, or payment details.
Game embeds
When you press Play, the game loads from itch.io. itch.io may set cookies and receive your IP address and referrer as part of serving the game. Their privacy policy applies to that frame.
Local storage
The typing test and wheel of names store your best score or name list in your browser's local storage. That data never leaves your device.
Your choices
You can block analytics with any content blocker, clear local storage in your browser settings, or use the site without pressing Play. To ask a question, open an issue at github.com/CharlieLZ/playdrop-issues/issues.
